This bug fixes an issue where users are able to see all departments, even if some are marked as hidden.

iDesk 1.6.2 has been released which includes the following

• Ability to add additional admin users from the control panel
• Email notices are now sent to users from a specific department now, rather than to all members of the help team.
• A new look for the admin panel which makes it more organized for users to use

There are also some minor bug fixes as well

The download will be available soon, the manual needs to be updated before the release will be made.

Please note that unless there is a major bug found, iDesk development has been halted until mid to end September 2008 (6-8 weeks).

Attachments are still being corrupted and that issue is being worked on.

Since the attachment corruption is still happening there is no plan for another release yet. I’ll keep you up on any other details I find out.

Plain text emails are being stripped off all carraige returns. In order to fix this issue iDesk was supposed to inject /rn after a line end. This fix appears to have not worked as intented.

The previous fix has created a new bug. iDesk, for some reason, is injecting /rn into attachments as well which is causing them to break.

These bugs have been reported and will hopefully be fixed soon.
